Institutional Film for an Animal Rescue NGO in Morocco – Case Study

At Vordi, we specialize in institutional film production and documentary storytelling for organizations, NGOs, and brands that want to communicate their mission with authenticity and impact.

This project involved producing an institutional documentary film in Morocco for Association Le Coeur sur la Patte Agadir, an animal rescue organization dedicated to protecting street animals from cruelty and neglect.

Our objective was to create a film that captures both the scale of their work and the human compassion behind their mission.

About Le Coeur sur la Patte Agadir

Founded in 2014 by Michele Augsburger, Association Le Coeur sur la Patte Agadir has become one of the most important animal rescue initiatives in Morocco.

The organization works daily to protect abandoned animals living on the streets of Agadir.

Today, the sanctuary is home to over 1,000 rescued animals, including:

  • Dogs

  • Cats

  • Donkeys

  • Mules

The philosophy of the organization is simple but powerful:

No animal is turned away.

Animals rescued from the streets receive shelter, medical care, and rehabilitation in a safe environment.

A Small Team Creating a Huge Impact

Despite caring for more than a thousand animals, the organization operates with a dedicated team of only 18 people.Their work includes:

  • Rescuing abandoned and injured animals

  • Providing veterinary care and rehabilitation

  • Running Trap–Neuter–Vaccinate–Release (TNVR) programs

  • Educating the local community about humane treatment of animals

Their work represents one of the most inspiring grassroots animal protection efforts in Morocco.

International Support

The association’s impact has also gained international attention.

SPCA International partners with Le Coeur sur la Patte Agadir to support their work and help establish a new TNVR program to humanely manage stray animal populations.

This collaboration strengthens the organization’s ability to protect animals and improve welfare standards in the region.

Our Approach to the Institutional Film

As a creative video production agency in Morocco, our goal was to create an authentic documentary-style film that reflects the emotional and social reality of the organization’s work.

Instead of a traditional promotional video, we focused on real moments and genuine stories.

The film captures:

  • The rescue of animals from the streets

  • The sanctuary environment

  • The dedication of the volunteers and staff

  • The bond between rescuers and animals

Through cinematic storytelling, the film aims to raise awareness and inspire support for the organization.

Why Institutional Films Matter for NGOs

For nonprofits and social organizations, institutional films are powerful communication tools.

They allow organizations to:

  • Communicate their mission clearly

  • Attract international partners and donors

  • Increase public awareness

  • Document the real impact of their work

A well-produced NGO documentary video can transform complex missions into powerful visual stories that connect with audiences worldwide.

A Story Worth Sharing

The work done by Le Coeur sur la Patte Agadir shows how compassion and dedication can change lives—both human and animal.

Through this institutional film, we wanted to bring visibility to the people working every day to give abandoned animals a second chance.

At Vordi, we believe that filmmaking can help amplify important stories and support organizations making a difference.
